      Halfway to Gainnesville

What a pleasant surprise! The park is near the highway but there are trees every and the sites quite accessible. We had an uneventful drive. It rained intermittently with stretches of sun shine.

People in the park obviously take xmas seriously! Take a look at the pictures. What a joy!

      Heading to Pensacola next.

It is Jeff's favorite place; there is an old southern home with porches all the way around and rocking chairs on the porches that he loves. Each year on the way Jeff says if the house is for sale he's going to buy it and we'll live in ...

... Orlando sprawl in their nondescript concrete splendor.

While hopping around the world, I like to arrive somewhere I have never heard of and see what interesting things I can learn about the place. I don't have much to report from here other than Naked Ed. Our kayak rental came complete with a warning about a loincloth clad recluse and we were even shown laminated 8.5"x11" pictorial proof of the dude in near naked repose. I am ...

... ft below was pretty intense. The pressure of the water was not as intense as I thought it would be, but that is a good thing. I didn't take my camera down on this dive mostly because I did not want to go that far with it turned off. The second dive we had an Easter Egg hunt, from which I won a scuba shirt from my universities scuba department [with an old date, 2006, and all!]. This time around I took ...
