10/6 Day 107 Today we continued in Branson. We started out with another treatment from the mini massage salesperson, it seemed to help a little for me and makes Peg's feet and legs feel better. We will probably go back and get it to see long term what it can do. From there we took off on a route out in the country. There is a loop that takes you out of town at one end and brings you back at the other end. Branson has their primary roads marked as yellow, red, green, or blue as well as ...

10/5 Day 106 We are still staying at Americas Best Campground in Branson. Today we got tickets to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede for tonight and the Oak Ridge Boys for tomorrow. After getting the tickets at the campground office we drove around Branson for a while checking out all the theaters and eateries. We had lunch at MacFarlain’s Family Restaurant a real nice local place. We both had the fried catfish which was delicious. Peg also had the fried ...

So now I have a good idea of where I want to go and see in the next week before heading to Mountain View. My first stop in Branson was McDonalds for a strawberry lemonade and a half hour of Internet. Then ...

Fog and 52 degrees this morning - very refreshing. Got the propane tank filled and then headed southeast to Mansfield, home of Laura Ingalls and Almanzo Wilder for fifty plus years. The introductory video gave background and then we toured the farmhouse which they built and lived in for all but eight years. A non-profit local group received this house soon after Laura died so it is still filled with her furniture, dishes, everything ...
