Our usual halfway stop just outside of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex.
Granbury is old world Texas .. cute old town area on a lake and river system.
Seems strange that it has maintained its charm being this close to Dallas.

Dr. Pepper a true original
This weekend we did another installment of our weekend riding getaways. This adventure took us up north to the Dublin-Waco region of Texas to celebrate two Texas Originals – Dublin Dr. Pepper & The Texas Rangers.
Our day started pretty early in order to get to our destination before the temperatures hit 100 degrees. We loaded up the bikes and hit the high road at 6:30am.

DinoFun - day two
... Lu feel asleep with a bite of brownie batter ice cream in her hand. We rested, swam for like 3 hours, played some scrabble with our cheese-Its and crashed.
It has been so much fun getting her all to myself - we are just giggling and playing and really enjoying it.
ill post more tonite or tomorrow - i suspect we will being having some more pool time and are headed to the museum to see some dinosaur bones.
