    ... from the tracts of arrow straight roads across the prairies, the coastal route of Highway 101 and now Highway 1 which I've been riding, have an elevation profile which looks similar to an ECG trace. Sharp peaks and troughs on the map translate into narrow, ribbon like roads which soar and dip around the coast. I know I complained about prairie riding but at present I would sell my soul for a bit of flat tarmac, just for a few miles.

    ... more time to see the scuba diver. We drove along the 17-Mile Drive, a scenic road through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula. The drive was stunning much of which hugs the Pacific coastline and passes famous golf courses, mansions and scenic attractions, including the Lone Cypress, Bird Rock and the 5,300-acre Del Monte Forest of Monterey Cypress trees.

    ... to the ballpark tonight, yew!). We went for a night skate to hit up the convenience store which was shut. Super convenient. So we went to the pub instead. Ok! So this is we're stuff gets going. This wasn't just any bar. Or rather Thursday nights aren't no regular night. It's karaoke night baby!
