... the campground about 5:30. Proceeded to hook up umbilicals. Attached the sewage hose and opened the discharge valve. Hose popped off and I got a shower. Lesson learned: check to make sure hose is tight before opening the valve. Our site is sloped. In general, not impressed with this camp site. Will be much more attentive to galleries on web sites. ... Dave in the early dawn hours until Bob and he surfaced again for morning coffee. We arrived at Little Creek at 1230, thankful for the warmer weather, and were met by John (S/V Alize) to see us off, helping us with lines at the fuel dock and joining us for lunch. Wally and Patti soon joined the luncheon and after Wally was moved aboard and fueling completed, we departed at 1355, waving goodbye to John and Patti. We were finally on our way.....

... party sunny and cool, with NE winds 15-20 and gusts to 25. It made for a fast (but cool) sail on main and jib up the Potomac, 9-10 kts SOG with frequent bursts to 10+ kts. The river current was also helping to move us along. We outran a tug and barge leaving Piney Point. We set anchor at our destination in Canoe Neck Creek off St Clements Bay at 1610 hours.
