        It's a bit of a grey morning here but looks like the clouds will burn off. They have a 25 meter pool here so I thought I would try and swim laps, it's been a long time since I've done that my goal is 20lengths :-)

        ... party sunny and cool, with NE winds 15-20 and gusts to 25. It made for a fast (but cool) sail on main and jib up the Potomac, 9-10 kts SOG with frequent bursts to 10+ kts. The river current was also helping to move us along. We outran a tug and barge leaving Piney Point. We set anchor at our destination in Canoe Neck Creek off St Clements Bay at 1610 hours.
