My buddy Bob Tischer is currently teaching economics on
contract at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. So while in northern New
England to ski, I thought I’d pay him and his wife Susan a visit. We worked
together for a bit way back when in 1998 at OCI, a small health information

It was only once we got close to Portland that we saw any snow at all and there it was only deep in the bush. But shortly after we stopped for the night the snow started. Especially as they were now all free. We decided to walk the estimated (by me) 1km walk to the restaurant we had chosen for NYE ...

... The waitress was lovely and funny which made the night even better. 'There isn't a starch I've met that I didn't like'.... the menu sides included fingerling potatoes, fries, roast potatoes, rice, potato salad and mashed potato! They were the only options for sides... no vegetables or anything. Just starch. I had TWIN lobsters for tea! 2 whole lobsters for $37! 2 lobsters steamed are only about 300 calories! Dad you really would love the lobster!! So ...

      - Rain again this night as it pours most of the night. Feel sorry our tent neighbours who pack up in the rain and leave by 7am.

      - Our goal today is to drive down the coast to south Maine and the beach area of Wells, with its 100 Outlet shops.. Karen is excited about the ...
