      ... really special. The scenery is fabulous too even if Mt McKinley (the highest peak in North America and the big draw for the park) is hidden by cloud. When we finally arrive at the lodge, we find rustic wooden cabins nestled I the bottom of a valley by the creek.       ... freshwater of the mountain streams joined the gray, milky water of the river to see if we could spot any of the red salmon on their desperate journey upstream. By far the most exciting part of the trip was shooting the rapids at the near end of Devil's Canyon. The entire stretch of rapids are 11 miles and rafting is illegal because it is a death sentence.
