... quality-- I did ponder if it would be cheaper but....

Leaving Anchorage, we drove through Wasilla, Denis looking left and right for signs of Sarah. Sarah who?-- Palin, of course. But, alas, no sign of her, but Denis indicated some city beautification projects seen along the Parks Highway that I pointed out were no doubt attributable to her reign as Mayor of Wasilla. We posed for pictures and just stood slack jawed trying to take it all in. We watched the other bush planes slide down the icy slope and grab air far, far away and then bank through the icy pass out of view. And then it was our turn to leave...which I did not want to do...just so beautiful.

... for decades. The group is going south, Carolyn wants to figure out a way to go with them, perhaps there are too many ghosts here with my family living here 10 years. I reluctantly agree to go south with them to give Carolyn her wish. I’m ******, and go out to the Fairview to find friends that I told I would be here for the next two days. Drinks go down easy. Lots of free drinks too. Walt and Lee show up and the party starts, Walt rings the ...
