Cloudy, rainy or hazy most days...McKinley is a reluctant sight, as only 20% get to see her fully. I felt somewhat lucky this day, but I knew that I could not honestly call myself a 20%er. Oh well...

We returned to the dock for pictures and fish cleaning. We ate one of the salmon with fried potatoes for lunch and then Lightner's left for Wasilla. It rained over lunch time and I slipped off our camper step and bruised my back, butt and arm. After a nap, we drove ...

After unloading, we walked down to the main area of shops, galleries, and restaurants. Same basic assortment of souvenirs, but in old, little buildings and cabins. We walked down to the river, hoping to get a glimpse of Mt McKinley but it was too cloudy. Since the weather was so nice, we all sat outside on the deck of Denali Brewpub for a long time for beers, a light meal, and people watching.
