... too cold where every body part hurt so we called it quits early. We found out that Heavenly closed early too because of the conditions. Our plan was to take Jalen to see fireworks at Heavenly village on NYE but we cut the trip short and left NYE because of the horrible weather. It is way to cold, highs of 18. HET Conferece, Day 3:

It's time to meet the mastermind of HET: Susan Kovalik! She is a very dynamic, engaging speaker. Listening to her would make any teacher feel inspired and motivated to be the best possible teacher. I loved her stories about teaching outside the box and how it led her to becoming a world famous author and trainer. She talked about the importance of immersing students in ...

... then switched to downpour, about 25 to 40 mile an hour winds, and then eventually snow. We hiked and hiked into it all. However, the scenery was just gorgeous. Even though fog would roll in and out it was quite a site. We finally would make it to the top and would cross into Spain. We thought at that point we were on the home stretch but that was just about half of it. ...
