... the Nevada side is actually imaginatively named "Stateline". Actually crossing the state line has to be seen to be believed. The Nevada side is built up in the most unsympathetic ugly way, with the most ugly high rise hotels and casinos blocking the views of the lake and the mountains. ... energy at the pool and then the arcade. We hit a buffet (of course) and then headed to downtown Reno to show the kids the sights. We didn't know there was a "wing festival " going on. Pretty cool to show the kids the sights. Still having lots of laughs and we are all still in one piece. Even Jeffery (the hamster) seems to be doing well. Next stop California!!
