We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

... end of nowhere!! The campsite is beautiful (as places where you sleep in a tent of!) and we managed to pitch 5 tents with limited disasters and no injuries!! We got settled and unpacked (as well as you can in a two man tent!) note here the 'bear warning' we got at this point: "Do NOT leave open food out or in your tent, we are in Bear country" ****!! Then we learnt how to do a heel 'J' turn. It was so fun, hard, but fun. I was a ...

... of Yosemite. Bodie was a most fascinating ghost town. You could almost call it an American Pompeii. Since its apogee in the 1880s, when thousands of tons of gold was mined, the town declined, until it was made a national park in 1962. What you see is what happened after the second fire of 1932. Abandoned houses, many still furnished with broken furniture, tattered wallpaper ...

Jalen's 1st trip to Tahoe- Worst trip

Jalen's 1st trip to tahoe was horrible. We went through a timeshare offer and the resort was so bad we left 1 day early! We saw our presentation which was horrible experience and checked out early. The room was small, dingy and so outdated. No AC as well and it was hot. We went to the Lake which was nice and Jalen dipped his feet in for the 1st time. He wasn't a fan because it was too cold. ...
