... common for the weather to be overcast and gloomy. I felt like I was walking around in a black and white set of gloom.

The sun was there, wanting to shine through the cloud cover, but was hidden much of the time. A few times, there were some spots of blue skies amidst the cloud cover, so that was nice.

    Departed Chicago for Syracuse

A travel blog entry by carmandy on Oct 11, 2014

Another lucky break! Staff travel on American Airlines from Chicago to Syracuse and on loaded first flight. Picked up a car at the airport then found our motel in Liverpool. The casino is owned by the Oneida Indian Nation and has a cool "Tree of Life" made of 5725 lbs of glass and stands 14ft high. I did gamble at little bit and won enough to pay for one buffet dinner. So my luck is holding steady!! I ...

After saying goodbye to my “man’s best friend”, Jack, we
pulled out of the drive at 7:05 a.m. heading west to Alaska. This trip has been in the making for over a year and we are both excited to the max for our nine-week adventure. Starting mileage is 60,009. Making our way through New York I saw several does with their fawns in tow, groundhogs, and ...
