    ... at least part of the way. What we did not know was that there was a community walk in aid of Suicide Prevention and thousands of people were crammed on to the bridge ready for the start. Instead we crossed by car but did get a good look at the edifice as we drove over the river.

    Our hosts were out and about early this morning and left the house to us. Seemed odd to be in a stranger's house by ourselves. Set off towards the north, heading for Springfield. About half an hour into the trip, we spied a plume of black smoke starting and growing quickly.
