Hello from the great state of Texas, or How y'all doing? After a long two lane highway, heavy with hurried oil workers and their big trucks, we made it to Fort Stockton, TX. ... Some of the cheaper places made me want to sleep in my car. I picked the Days Inn, which was middle of the road one. The Hampton Inn was over $200.00. I arrived at 4, and found that my room was well equipped. I first noticed a few flies, and killed them, than I found the fly swatter they provided. Nice, huh? Today we walked into the Carlsbad cave, which was pretty cold. We saw a lot of stalakmytes and formations. The guard said "please don't touch my formations". When we got to the bottom, the experience was kind of ruined, as you took an elevator up, and they had a gift shop along with toilets. Afterwards, we drove to fort Stockton.
