    Quick jaunt into Woodstock--"quick" being the operative word here. We found a supposedly dog-friendly spot online (Bringfido.com) but was told upon arrival that only service dogs were allowed.     This weekend we headed north to New York for Tim's 3-day bike race, The Tour of the Catskills. Yesterday we arrived at our home for the weekend, the "Paint the Night Cottage" located about 15 miles from Woodstock, NY, the spot of the famous 1969 gathering celebrating peace, love & rock & roll.     Departure from Nyack (we got dropped off just a bit out of NYC to avoid traffic) went well. We cycled approximately 65 km (40 miles). It was quite hilly (a lot more than what I am used to) but we eventually made it to Beacon, NY where we camped for the night in someone's backyard.
