The rest of the day I spend searching for jobs and sending emails and resumes to companies in order to get a job. ate in the afternoon I went down town for the second St. Patrick's day celebration, this time with the Perth couchsurfing community, with my first beer I got a free hat, which I sold later on the evening for another beer (a slightly tipsy girl really wanted to have the hat :P)

... the beach with what seemed like the entire population. At this time of day the beach is quite small and waves were crashing in. Fun but a nightmare I imagine for the lifeguards. ... Very disappointing I thought! We are prepared to pay extra and most places will do us some sort of deal for the local fish but you have to ask for it! I am sure most people are unaware what fish they are even eating!

The highlight of our Perth stay for the kids was getting to go to Chrissy and her partner Simons wrecking yard and go through all the stuff they have found in the cars they get from the police that have been impounded due to the WA ...

... so I was glad to go and just sort of take it for what it was. Hahaha.

I ended up taking the wrong train back home, missing the bus connection by about three hours, so I just walked home. I found this nice lady that was also walking home, so we walked together and talked about random things the whole way. Finally, she got tired and called a cab and wouldn't let me walk home by myself.
