... we programmed in Daintree national park into the GPS and it took us on a coastal track known as the 'Bloomfield track' around 9pm at night. Little did we know it was a world renown '4x4 only' corrugated dirt track through a pristine forest. ... campsite and Ivo was keen on giving fishing another shot before leaving Australia and so the two of us were ready to give it a go. After the first hours there were quite some bites and all of a sudden Ivo caught a rather long, skinny weird looking fish with a long sharp beak and quite sharp teeth. The rest of our time in Freo was spent enjoying the town which has a cute side even though is a big port area. There is a relaxed, hippy feel to the town, and so many places to hang out I could spend a lot more time there! The beaches of Freo are also beautiful and we spent many an hour chilling on South Beach catching the surf, as well as the wind and sand blasting!
