      We drove down the coast via US 101 to Astoria ....interesting small town with a large logging port as well as fishing boats. There is a huge bridge spanning the Columbia River to Long Beach Wash. And another bridge down the coastline of Oregon.       ... the trees, almost like they're wearing a coat. When the rain is still on the trees and the sun shines, they almost glow. The valley is different from other places we have traveled, like a rainforest, but cold. Huge trees and wildlife were everywhere.
