... the entrance. We were greeted by Calvin & ......they were hired to come in and give us dance lessons. There was a band and the music was called Zidico. It reminded me of a cross between country, folk, rock and jazz music. We were all brought up individually and dance with our gracious hosts who have been married for 56 years. Meeting Dave and Linda at Galveston. The 1st time to the island for them. We enjoyed suggesting some of our favorite highlights.

We woke up the next day to the sound of ....... horses? Setting up in the dark the night before we really didn't have a chance to get a look at our surroundings. We opened our curtain and saw at the edge of the campground was a beautiful field full of grazing horses. We laid there for awhile ...

... saw dolphins jumping just off the shore. The fishing guys were concerned that they might get tangled in their lines, so they pulled their rods in and waited for them to leave.

We headed out to another set of piers that goes way further out onto the water, looked around a bit, then headed back to the car. We checked on the pelicans again, and they were still trying to swallow that damn mudshark. We hope they're not still there trying to eat it!
