... another day there depending on the storm I will let you know. As we travel to Myrtle beach we have to go around Cape Fear. scary name but the skipper says it's really not difficult I will fill you in on that later :-)

I'm off to try and get a picture of those pelicans, which didn't happen...I don't know where they all went last night they were gone and this morning they had not returned....who knows, perhaps we will see more today along the way.

One bit of excitement when we got here Bryan was busy finishing off tying the spring line when a man on the dock beside us yelled at me MAM a sailboat is drifting into you...OMG I ran onto boat grabbed the hook pole and ran along to about 3/4 of the way to bow it is a narrow spot to run! anyway between the captain of the boat ...

... stay at a Motel 6 on my way to DC to break up the drive. But I cancelled that and extended my stay in Wilmington.

I went to the beach a couple of times. Again, a beautiful beach. But both days were pretty windy and chilly and there were zillions of spring break folks everywhere.

Only took two pictures - the beach and the great fire I built. Sorry there aren't more. I guess I was just too busy enjoying my time there ...

What was really interesting was the actual sailors written description of things like the cockroaches and other insects that got into the flour and so into their bread, they called it raisin bread, that they would pick out but obviously eat too.
