... who had their own guide. We enjoyed chatting and eating some of our enormous dinner. We each got two pieces of chicken schnitzel each about 15cm wide and long, a large bowl of french fries, and a salad. That was just the main meal, we also had garlic bread to start and ice cream for dessert! We were so full and I feel like I barely made a dent in mine. It was a good meal though.

A few other discussions today revolved around the inlet water pipe being near the muffler. Chris asked what we would like to do either: 1. Wrap a shield around the pipe or 2. Inlet pipe on passenger side. We opted for version 1. As per usual Chris is thinking ahead.

... was tediously slow. They say practice makes perfect. Well, after a day practicing I'd say I'm no closer to perfect. I feel I should point out the surf wasn't ideal today. Don't think even the most experienced professional could've made much of it today. The waves certainly weren't conducive to a naive amateur like myself learning the ropes. We sailed right round the island past the Surfers Paradise hotels and I was amazed how few people were about. The place looks like an empty Las Vegas! We nearly got stuck on a sand bank as well.

It got quite cold last night. We were up early, and on the road by 8.30 am. We drove back out on the road we came in here on, back to the Bruce Highway. There was a lot of traffic on the road.
