... Shell station to pick up some apple cider and got a bonus prize for our efforts; F'Real milkshakes! So far, we really like Mt. Shasta. Swigs mother also mentioned that they would be having a BBQ party the next day since Swig was home and we were welcome to come. ... it was beautiful and magical looking. There were little fairy streams and fairy waterfalls. We found a spot on the grass to sit and eat lunch. We were both starving. After lunch, I got a lot more energy. We decided to hike up the meadow more and we found the waterfall. It was beautiful and the energy there was awesome.

I felt drawn to keep hiking up alongside the waterfall as I could see a path. Somehow I had the energy to keep going, and we made it to the top. I wanted to see ...

We stopped for an overnight stay at the Yreka RV Park right off highway 5. We explored the little town including what they call the 15 minute drive-in museum which is really a drive through the historic homes of the late 1800's and early 1900's.
