... it's cold and rainy here! After a day out in the chilly air a warm meal sounds good so traditional comfort foods influence the cuisine. I have to admit that I didn’t have a good perception of Pub food before this trip based on what typical pubs serve in the States.  After eating at several Pubs and small family owned restaurants I found it is some of the best food at reasonable prices.  Sure you can go to high end restaurants in the big cities and find ...

... we are there so that we can pack lighter. I say lighter because we are still American come on now! Honestly it is pretty easy to find a laundry (launderette) in most towns and for a little higher rate they will wash, dry, fold and deliver your clothes back to your hotel/B&B in one day. Something to think about before you pack all that stuff you will never wear:-)

US Passports Required to Visit NYC

... with conflicting restrictions, don't park, even with meters.

My recommendation is if you would like to use your handicap placard come to Michigan we welcome all comers. Detroit has wonderful museums, cultural events and cheap good alcohol across in Canada. Yes you do need a passport to get into Canada.

Where is the AAA, AARP, Americans with disabilities act with this information!

Meet at Bob's house at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast on the deck, then ride over to Reeds Lake and go around it. Join the ride at Collins Park on Lakeside Drive if you prefer. That will give you about a 4 mile ride. If you ride back to Bob's place, total miles, about 14.
Starting point is 2321 Briar Hills NE near Ball and Aberdeen. Let me know if you are in so we can figure out what time to rendezvous at the Collins Park. (8:30 maybe?)
