It also makes me think about how long I'd need when revisiting a place - I'd say a full week in Argentina is fine. Two weeks and we could go to another city (Mendoza).
A week was short for Santiago/Valpo. Three days was enough for Valpo but Santiago deserves some more.

I got in a lot later than I expected--almost 7:30pm. Luckily there was a Perkins like right next to the hotel so I ran over to get a salad. Meh. I had hoped that I could catch Expedition Unknown on the Travel Channel but no luck there. I fell asleep a little after 9.
... So, two hours early we go to the airport and get checked in - no story just that. Within a minute the attendant had us checked in with seats together for no cost. Triumphant we returned home.
Got to the airport at 5:20pm. Great timing. Quick flight to Dallas. Rode the people mover. Realized we were in the same area waiting for our delayed flights from Colombia.

Another day of good weather, 691 kms covered and two more states, Illinois and Iowa, are behind us.
The boys are really taking to this travelling lifestyle.
Had an excellent time at the 50th annual Christ the King Sports Club Banquet. Was the guest of Chris Abboud, who is the world champion introducer of all time. Can't even count how many people I shook hands with and talked about the big issues of the day.
