Now that I have no where to be there is no reason to make 500 miles a day. We decided to pull off about half way to Iowa. Having driven in rain for an hour it looks like it is coming back. We have stayed in this park some 20 years ago, but it looks like there are many improvements. As we pull into our site it starts to rain. It is always fun setting up in the rain. As the day turns to night the rain gets heavy and I am thankful we ...
Day three - we are still in Pontiac so definitely didn't get lost today! All good but huge storms forecast including possibility of tornado so decided, since it was already mid afternoon by the time we are finished and ready to go, best we just batten down the hatches and stay put. Turned out to be the best decision. Thunderstorm, lightning and very heavy rain arrived as forecast but thankfully no tornado. Pontic ...

This time we were taking the bus from Nazca to Arequipa and we had learned from our previous mistakes and we booked the more ...
... the wind pushes you away from the truck. It is fun when it is windy and there is about 15-20 mph wind gusts today.
Stopping for lunch at a rest stop we see a motor home we have been with since Cheyenne, WY. That couple is returned home to New Jersey. The have a 2011 34 foot Monaco Monarch, a sister coach to ours.
Just East of Davenport, IA we cross the Mississippi for the second time. Finally we are in Illinois and make our last KOA stop in LaSalle/Peru, IL.
