Tomorrow we are heading for Land Between the Lakes outside of Paducah, Kentucky. There is a big BBQ festival going on in downtown Paducah next week. We attended this festival a couple of years ago and sampled some great food. BBQ contestant from all over the world come to compete and the food is great.

... we lucked upon a really good Cajun restaurant - J. Gumbo's, where the food was fantastic, extremely tasty, and of course QUITE spicy.....mmmmm. Suffice to say, tums came in quite handy.

... by maybe 8 cars the entire time, and when we went into shops, the only folks we saw were the people working there. We visited a really beautiful small park too, but again, no people. John did a juggling routine for nobody (well, except for me) there and we finally called it. Back to the RV for the two hour drive to DeMotte, Indiana. Hopefully they aren’t a ghost town ...
