Ol Charlie says to me a couple a days ago..."Psst, it's time to go". I said "OK", so with that, we bid adieu to Marion Iowa on a cold and rainy day.
We motored on over to Walcott Iowa and pulled into the "World's Largest" Truck Stop. I'm here to tell ya it tis that and more. What I can't figure out is why if it is so big are there competitors across the road and over the freeway...Oh well something ...
... three campground in Paducah to find a place to stay, only place we could find is at an race track RV park. This place is a nice campground, had to unhook the car to get into the site, but it is clean and level and only $30 a night. Will be in Paducah, KY tomorrow for the BBQ on the River. ...

He stir fried it and plated it and handed you a dinner that you concocted. Eddie made his first bowl HuHOTTTTTTTTT !!!!! Watched some TV, I worked on blog and then bed. Drove 480 miles today....total miles ...

There were a lot of closed lanes due to highway construction, so we got off and drove some local roads once we were in Iowa.....very beautiful stretches of farmland but in many places, virtually deserted. We found a couple of town parks for short walks and ate our lunch on bleachers next to a Little League field - cold paella makes a fine lunch! Soon after that, we got back on the highway ...
... it will be about 45 mins. After a few expletives mumbled under our breath, we paid for our coffees and stormed out. Not the best customer service and generally not you would expect in the USA. Oh well I am sure we can manage without food!
