Or rather RESIGNED the position. Too stressful to read the map and make a decision in 60 sec when he hadn't even paid any attention to the map. We checked out of our hotel room and got situated Brian immediately started looking for his phone that he thought he left in the van the night before. Nothing. So instead of leaving right away, we played find the IPhone. Brian and Chad were on the locating app, Chad made it beep. We searched the van, our original parking space since we had moved, called Pizza Hut, finally Chad made it beep. Brian and I headed back into the motel ...

Spent last night in Eucha, Oklahoma with Linda and Earl. Linda and I were stationed on Okinawa together. It was great to catch up.
I was not sure I would be able to leave as severe thunderstorms were predicted. Fortunately it was just low dark clouds. As I traveled north the skies began to lighten and clear.

I thought getting into Chicago was bad, but navigating around the city was worse, especially considering I was trying to find a particular pizza joint (Pizano's, recommended to me by my friend Erin).
