Made it to Fargo, Day 2

Made it to Fargo, ND today. It snowed this morning in Wisconsin and we met Emmy's friend for lunch in Minneapolis, MN.
We also stopped at an REI for a few minutes.

Roads in Minnesota this evening were icy in spots and it was very windy, but we went slow and made it here safely.

Sorry, there isn't much else to say since we haven't done any sight seeing yet. Planning on entering Canada tomorrow, so things should become more interesting.

They scurried up a tree so I sat and watched them for a min before heading on. They were big suckers. About half the ...

    ... Well, thanks. Bye

I did have more second thoughts but I only had to drive through the blizzard for another 60 miles. Needless to say, it was heavy snow and I went pretty slow, but I had a truck to follow and made it just fine. Once I crossed into Minnesota the roads were hit or miss. Some of the highways were plowed better than others, but all were passable. The back roads were an adventure. I don't think I have ever felt ...

Monday morning we feasted on huge muffins from Perkins before leaving the campground and we took our time getting to the next stop which was Rockford, IL where we grilled out and had a leisurely evening. Tonight we are in a beautiful campground just outside Benton, IL and will be heading home in the morning. After we have the last two Perkins' muffins we will head out and probably be arriving in Mt. Juliet in early afternoon. Hope to see most of you soon. A million ...
