Sometime yesterday, it occurred to me that I will not see the face of anyone that I know, nor see the face of the same person more than once, from last Saturday (when I left Grand Rapids, MI) until a week from this Thursday (when I arrive in Pittsburg, KS) - about 12 days. I can't think of another time in my life when I've experienced that. My …

As the journey continues, Ole Miss is getting younger and younger. Like a youngin', she was wandering all over the place, all forming a great question mark - will I flow north, east, west, or - south?

But even though I might not be a fast hill climber, I was proud of the fact that I never had to use my granny gear once on any of the hills we climbed today and that is sayin a lot believe me. To end the day, we decided to walk to the Douglas lodge for dinner. Here's the kicker, it was a 2.5 mile walk from the cabin and it seemed to be uphill both ways! Oh well...what's another 5 miles in the scheme of ...

        Goodbye Canada, Hello again USA

We left Weyburn at 7.45am and drove until we reached the Canadian Duty Free shop at Portal. We went in to spend the last of our Canadian cash that we had.

We then drove through to the border security area. Chris, Sharon, Mark, Jody and Bailey were in front and were ushered over to the truck line. We waited until the car in our lane had moved on.

We moved up and were asked a few questions and we had ...
