September 26th – day 145
The check out from this RV park was 2pm
so we didn't rush away although we did leave straight after lunch.
From there we drove towards New Orleans Louisiana before heading
North. New Orleans was more than I expected. We were told not to go
to The French Quarter after dark and so we decided to just drive it
by day instead. Heading up Bourbon Street was crazy. It's a party

... look, swishing the gravel in the water. Divide and conquer will be the order of the day. We shall see. It can't be a long day though - just a few hours coz we need to make our way over to Mississippi to meet up with Bobby for dinner, the chap who did a bit of running around for us attending to matters re the trike. So going to be hunting down an AutoZone tomorrow to get a replacement, pick up some anti-freeze, and motor oil. Oh, did have an interesting thing happen this morning. When unhooking the electricity water and sewer, I noticed a ...
... Also had to finish up the laundry today. Next week we will not have sewage, so will not be able to wash clothes.
I think this weekend is going to be busier than last weekend since we have seen several RVs go by our site. Tomorrow we drive about 180 miles south to Sam Rayburn Reservoir outside of Zavalla, TX where we will be "living" for the next week. Don't think I will be writing tomorrow night since chances are nothing interesting will be happening ...
