... our way back to the campground we went over to see Lake Oneida and Sylvan Beach. The beach area also has an amusement park located across the parking lot. The area had a lot of tourists and people seemed to be enjoying the lake and beach area.
Tomorrow we will be in Grand Island, NY to visit the one, the only Niagara Falls. I just love waterfalls and can't wait!!

I had started this blog this afternoon and now it is after 9p. We had dinner at a great pub, Parker's. We ate outside along with some flies, actually too many. Left about 8:00 AM and crossed Oneida Lake. About 25 miles with rough water to start with but calmer as we reached the western end of the lake. Saw s kayak with a sail on our way. We ate sandwiches for lunch and dinner out of the back of the baby house. Bud did splurge
and get a post-dinner $8 McDonald’s #4. I got a 0.49 baby ice cream cone. All said and done, we made it 800 miles, spent $47.25 in tolls and $330.49 in petrol. We finally stopped, after 800 miles, at a very nice rest stop in Wisconsin around 11 p.m. (EDT) for the night.
