Braving the approach of winter, we set out for Boise to pick up our custom made Motorhome slider. We stayed in Winnemucca the first night and then stayed in Jackpot with very few resources. On to Boise - the park was crowded. We got a tour of the factory and met very nice people - the custom slider was all we expected. Headed out for Bend, OR through winds and rain fell in Sisters where we ...

By the time I was skirting up the east side of Lake Almador, I was getting really hungry and ready for a stop. So I ...

Leaving Bishop and Ron Chapman, we left the car unhooked for the grade out of Bishop. Up the hill near Tom's Place, I hooked the car up and we finished the drive to Stateline and Lake Topaz. They have a nice RV park there, with full hookups, and we stayed 2 nights.

Kept moving north on the 395 with a stop at the Carson City NV Costco. I have to mention, I have been in a number of Costco Warehouses, and this is one special Costco. There was an extra aisle running from front ...
