... we're heading too, in front of Lisa's antiques & collectables Mall. We search around looking for something small, we surveyed several times, because of the rain and puddles we nearly missed it altogether. Andy's delving fingers located a suspect object in some sodden grass around an old rusty bison pipe, (gotta get stuck in there if serious about this geo-geek hobby) !! Marked down in history again on another roll of paper, along this 66 trail, i today put it back in to ...

... going for lunch at the Ariston, the famous oldest historic Route 66 cafe run by the Adams family. Dad had told us about here and was recommended its well worth the visit. It's only a 10 minute drive away, to the next exit along from ours. We parked up outside and got to the entrance to find it was closed on Mondays. Next door was also an old Route 66 restaurant too, so we went into Jubelt's for lunch instead. It was busy, we sat in one of the few ...

... he go inspect the washing and get it into the dryer, to distract himself. He did so, then went for a walk around the hotel grounds in the sun & came back in to show me the size of the catfish in the lake. They have eat all you can catfish on Wednesday, he thinks this is where they get their stock from. I was taking the iPad so we could continue with FaceTime, we finished our comforting chitchat, to hook up again for birthday time with Jay and family. Another ...
