    ... off one of the lifts burnt they have on display as well as two of the fire trucks that were burnt under the rubble. The cross which was on the sight that they worshiped at every day at, is preserved in the museum and bit of the planes and belongings of the passengers.

    ... fun to people watch while hearing the story behind the Lincoln Center. Just across the street we'd find our 1st Christmas tree of the night. A few more pointers in the near vicinity including the movie premiere theatre in NYC where the roll out the red carpet and the Apple Store, we'd hit the Subway to take us down to Times Square, then heading nearby to Bryant Park.

    ... That's where my heart was. The House That Ruth Built was no more. We proceeded onward towards Grant's Tomb. We would catch the Uptown Loop Bus and continue on back to Midtown Manhattan.     ... and could easily see, hear and smell the street market for 'little Italy'. We needed to stop for a refresher, so stopped at the first trattoria & oyster bar.     ... so ben and i went and woke him up.

    They checked out then we went to Williamsburg in Brooklyn so I could show them the hipster part of NYC. We made a few wrong turns after walking along Bedford Ave (ie hipster lane) but eventually found our way to the east river ferry. We jumped on and caught it to brooklyn heights where we checked out the promenade before walking over the Brooklyn bridge.
