Tomorrow we are heading for Land Between the Lakes outside of Paducah, Kentucky. There is a big BBQ festival going on in downtown Paducah next week. We attended this festival a couple of years ago and sampled some great food. BBQ contestant from all over the world come to compete and the food is great.

The parking lot where we had been before was a Marriott hote and it a had Gino's East Pizza. Since I knew of their reputation for Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and it was dinner time, I headed back there. After a wonderful summer spent east of the Mississippi, we are finally heading west. Everything is crammed into a 5x8 trailer, our spirits are high, and we raring to go! Our guardians for the trip are Voltron, Defender of the Universe, and a Pink Unicorn/Pegasus. And of course, MAZYWANKENOBI. So much gratitude to everyone who we visited during this enchanted summer. We arrived Friday afternoon only to find out that our friend Jim was still in the hospital. He had an intenstinal infection and should be out on Saturday. We visited with Marilyn then went to hospital to visit with Jim. Saturday, Marilyn went to break Jim out of the hospital and as would be the case for most hospitals on a holiday they were short staffed. By the time they checked out it was mid afternoon.
