    ... Rib dinner with soup or salad and shared desert. The entre included Prime Rib, baked potato, beans, and corn bread. We were so full we had to take the desert back to our room to finish later.


    I was exhausted so we called it an early night watched some TV and went to bed early.

    Thanks to our Lord for giving us a wonderful element as Borax with many uses for our every day lives.

    ... audio books to keep my mind occupied and I am enjoying listening to the classics. I have gone through the entire Tarzan series on this trip and today I was listening to "The First Men in the Moon" by H. G,. Wells. That man had an amazing imagination.

    Well, how life changes in an instant.

    So we had lots of plans, lots of trips in the various stages
    of planning, but alas all has changed.

    I worked out of town until just recently so that made any
    kind of travel difficult. Then last fall our oldest granddaughter came to live
    with us making any travel outside of school breaks virtually impossible.

    On Tuesday we have fresh hummus, celery, rice crackers, sourdough bread, cheese and salami. The remaining days we will have salami, cheese, crackers and bread, hummus made from freeze dried, and a chicken salad one day.

    For dinners:

    Tuesday: we will carry in chicken thighs frozen until we leave. We will make Chicken Curry over rice with fresh carrots with a few pinion nuts added.

    ... like the best option is driving. UGH 5 hours in the Mazda, my poor back.


    Mazda has a clunk but we now think that it may be part of the emission system that won’t pass smog, can’t tag it either but at least the registration fee is paid. Hope I don’t get a ticket for no tags!
