over the street, in no hurry to get out of our way. Balconies of
drunk men on one side calling across to drunk women on a balcony on
the other side. Hot dog vendors pushing their carts up the street, a
tap dancing pre-teen, a man carrying a large tuba. Everyone walking
was carrying beer or other drinks. I get the feeling it would be
pretty nuts after 7pm and wouldn't like to think about what happens

In Texas. It took us 6 - 7 hours to get here and we filled our tank on the way for $20! Under $2 a gallon. Jonathan fm drove straight here via Arby's drive through, a McDonald's coffee pit stop and then. Walmart stop for groceries. Arrived after hours at another state park and it smells amazing after New Orleans - like cedar I think, I have no idea. I'll get brochures tomorrow when we check out with the ranger.
