So driving through Minnesota today we saw a helicopter with a guy hanging from a line similar to the military and then he slowed at the power line pole. The power poles are approximately 100 feet tall metal, and apparently the local power company uses a helicopter to get guys from pole to pole to work on them. The helicopter yo weed at the power pole to let the guy transfer to the arm with the wires. Who knew ...

... a bit of driving we decided to take a break and stretch. We stopped at a Dairy Queen where the family got a Blizzard to share, a Peanut Buster for Mom and an Arctic Rush to share. The service was very slow but Mom said it was the best and most peanut-laden Peanut Buster she had ever had and was well worth the wait.

... Pete had a good TBone but I had something called a club steak. It looked like a T bone but had more bone than tender meat. Expensive and disappointed. It is staying light here so late. The sun was high in the sky at 7! Still light now at 9. Tomorrow is an even longer drive day to Sturgis. We didn't get there the last time we were in SD. ... yep, I did have fries with it!!!! And they sold beer and wine too! Along the way we allowed Greg to take an exit to a car and tractor museum which turned out to be quite a gem, with over 250 cars and dozens of cars, tractors, motorbikes, outboards and any other old stuff you could imagine! Needless to say we had to drag him out some time later, but it was typical of the museums we have seen everywhere we have been and I spent some time chatting to one of the caretakers ...
