So we arrived at the Little Bighorn battlefield later than we planned and not enough time really to see everything in detail and fully absorb the events that took place. But it was very moving. ... a pix at the continental divide but we were past it way too fast. Wyoming didn't look much different than Montana, just a smidgen greener hue to the up and down hills. Of course, Linda remembered the name of the motel wrong. Good thing she had a confirmation email so we could get where we needed to go. It's a pretty nice place, all the same. John and Susan drove us around Sheridan WY and we saw some beautiful vistas of this state against the Big Horn mountains. What a gorgeous state!! We saw a number of white tail and mule deer, antelope, and herds of black Angus and Hereford cattle. We visited a saddle and roping museum in the downtown area of Sheridan. ... with four or five jets overhead turning and landing. Jerry and Derrell were in their element! We also went to bed listening to taps! We plan on staying two nights here so that we can go to Mt. Rushmore and it is time to stop and recover. The Fam camp is a great stop....laundry, good showers, commissary etc. Recovery time.
