Very comfortable room. It is raining. Had a good nights sleep and delicious breakfast. Today it is 50 degrees. Headed to Mount Rushmore. Speed limit is 80 in Wyoming.
We decided to take SR 16 to SR 14 from Gillette to Sheridan rather than stick with the Interstate because we felt it would be a more enjoyable, less congested ride. For the night, we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites.

I thought 18 days was ...

The people in Sheridan were among the friendliest we have met on our travels so far. They say hello on the street downtown, smile when passing and will stop to chat if you ask for directions. It's a "real" small town feel.
Next stop .... Cheyenne, WY
