What a crazy busy day! We spent our last day in Minneapolis at the Mall of America. This place is HUGE! There are over 520 stores, an amusement park and an aquarium - and that is just the start! Of course most of our day was spent in the amusement park area, the Nickelodeon Universe. That place has some crazy rides! I asked all three girls at the end of the day and ...

Minnesota Stop

Another drive day but a stop in another state to get a sticker for our US map. Drove Interstate 90 along the southern part of MN and saw farm fields the whole way. Then off to the museum in Le Mars. This is no small museum! It is a three story brick building covering almost a square block. Every room had some kind of exhibit, trucks, tractors, a whole dinner, kitchens from 100, ...

After breakfast we had to find a place to get the nose pad on my glasses fixed, then Rowan called and we met her at Dordt College, here in Sioux Center, to see the colleges production of "Little Shop Of Horrors". This play was done with live music, a little to loud for the singers. All the students had very nice voices, but it was hard to hear them over the music. Julian ...

Theatre Bound

This is my birthday present, being with Rowan and seeing "Winslow Boy" at Northwestern. The play was very well done. The stage setting, lighting, sound, costumes, the whole play. We stayed after the audience left for a critique by a visiting professor, he had very positive opinions of the production; only a couple of ...
