          ... quite as well but still giggled it off when I fell. At this point it was raining and that made it very tough for me to manoeuvre my board as it was slipping and sliding on the snow. After about 5 attempts down the hill solo, my legs were so tired from pulling myself up off the snow that I called it a day.           ... wheelchair walk around an extended block and had a fine time. It's great to spend time with someone who we have known for so long. All told, it was a good stop and visit.

          We are now near Dayton, Washington an the Palouse RV Retreat for two nights. Our plan is to visit Palouse State Park and see the falls on the Palouse River. More about that in the next edition. Thanks for stopping by, again...

          ... from Germany, as they went to hear a Seattle band play. Shauna's kids (now mostly grown) flitted back and forth with their multitudes of friends from our blankets laid out on the lawn.

          Funny, but in some ways, the lawn was a highlight of the evening: it had been a very warm day, and the long, lush green grass felt amazing soft under our feet as we walked around barefoot.

          After the concert, there was a brief but beautiful fireworks show.

          ... July" rendezvous. Sraddha's sister, and family travels in from various places in the world to attend this. With 6 nieces/nephews and 14 great nieces/nephews (ages 1-9), I call them "the herd". They are fun too.
