While we were out for dinner in Temecula the other night, our bikes were stripped of their wheels and Roy's seat, which he forgot to take off after his bike ride earlier in the day. Oh brother what a pain. We filed a report with the police, just in case we need to deal with the insurance company. THEN, a couple nights later, the buggers came back and stole our handlebars, and anything else they could get off. Our bike frames look pathetic! ...

We weren't sure where to eat dinner so we asked for a recommendation at the front desk. Vail Ranch Steakhouse is an excellent restaurant and the steaks are awesome.
After dinner we said out goodbyes. We will all be getting together tomorrow for a day of wine tasting and (oh, by the way) LeeDelle turns 60!
... is that they do not provide breakfast so we eat random things we bought yesterday when we couldn't really be bothered to shop. Elwood delights in eating cereal out of a paper cup and eating on his bed. We relish him eating without having to negotiate with him – so far we are winners in a wigwam.

... that lies on the shore. All our neighbours deserted us this morning leaving us miles of beach all to ourselves. We bikde up the beach – into the wind, then flew home effortlessly – beats step class at the Y any day! Dave is working on projects, and I am hiding from the sun in the shade of our trailer with a good book. Yes, I think this is going to work for me!
