... Most afternoons we spent an hour at the water park watching the grandchildren grow their swimming skills. We learned the ins and outs of maintaining a campground. We watched with wonder and awe as we spotted the deer, skunk, groundhogs, turtles, butterflies and other insects in the woods. We had the privilege of meeting this years' teachers for our grandchildren.

This weekend we are in Michigan at the invitation of Pastor DJ to help celebrate the ...

We followed our GPS as opposed to the Trip Tik that CAA provided us. That meant that we dropped straight down from Detroit Michigan on I 75 to I-70, but went through ...

down the basketball hoop on their garage and our RV fit into their
driveway so we can stay safely parked up in ...

... d be surprised how great our own country is. The small towns, the big cities, the coastlines, the mountain peaks and the food is just as diverse and exciting and enriching as other places in the world. Why do you think they come here? Foreigners know more about our country than we do. Shame on us. We are getting very excited for our trip. We have a true understanding that the direction we are going this year will be completely different than the East Coast we traveled last ...

        Flying on Christmas Day

... I was happy to be at my hotel door with all 4 of us alive and breathing. I was a bit concerned I'd be dumped over a bridge somewhere!

We check in completely exhausted but very hungry. Along with a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite, the desk clerk gave us a couple of takeout menus and we end up ordering way too much Chinese delivery. Some food perked us all up though and we gratefully went to sleep.
