... Instead of feeling like the outsider, I feel an immense connection to everyone around me. That's why being home has been so enjoyable.

... the rest upstairs - with the best views. As we waited we were right beside the Chicago river with lots of tourist boats going up and down. Away about 30mins late. Lots of swamps and lakes along the way, and the train blows its horn at every crossing - and there were lots. Some of the journey was along side the Mississippi river, which we could only see as reflections of light ...

During the ride from Madison, Wisconsin to Minneapolis, Minnesota today I decided to move to Wisconsin. It didn't take long. For starters, the area just north of Madison looks just like my part of Pennsylvania – rolling hills covered with farms. It’s nice and green, with corn fields and barns everywhere. ... more suited for those who travel by car, even though there's a huge Walmart and Dennys real close by which will solve all my needs while here.

The bus that runs to Mall of America is just about 150 meters away, so that is quite nice (its only about a 10 minute busride from here, I could probably walk......if there were sidewalks...which there are....sometimes)
