Sooo after a restless trip, we arrived very weary at Charles De Gualle airport. I had the intention of getting on a train and trying to find our place, but we (I) were too weary to be that brave. 45 min & 150euro later the taxi driver "Patrice" dropped us off at 5 rue Dohis. Before our adventure could begin however, we needed a nap.

... While Barbara and Chadly entertained friends, we went to the St. Paul RiverCentre for the Festival of Nations. The place was busy with people enjoying foods from many nations, dancers, singers, musicians, and performers representing different cultures, and shopping in a bazaar filled with intriguing items. ... have to learn Wolof (a language spoken only in three West African countries). It would not be the end of the world learning another language but I would love nothing more than to become fluent in French and since I already have a good base, why not stick with it, right?
Well, that is about all for now. I can assure you that there will be more exciting posts to come in the future, but I just want to keep accurate records of pre-departure.
