... nervous; thankfully I passed...PHEW!!! Anyone back in the UK reading - it was so much faster and easier out here than what we are used to. After passing my written (50 multiple choice questions), I drove around with a lady for about 15 minutes. I'm pretty familiar with the main roads around here but she took me on a few ones I hadn't been on yet. She was real chatty and asked all about what our driving test is like etc... After driving in a big loop only encountering basic ...

... If only we would have known you'd have some funny pics of us now!
Later we went to Dunhams which is similar to ***** sporting goods but a little nicer prices. We bought our fishing rods and a few others things so he was a happy boy!

On the way home we stopped at the Y as they have a nice circular route for walking/running. We ran around that - it was about 4pm but it was still so hot! We headed back after and jumped in the pool for a bit then went with Steve to ...

I Can't Believe How They Make RVs

... rolled into the parking lot. The other RVs followed in quick succession – it was something to see these big rigs darting one after the other into the parking area and backing into the parking spaces. It looked like a sped-up video of bumper cars, except the vehicles were bus-sized.

We were so happy to have our RV working properly. Perry did a wonderful job. Now we can start our adventures!

... Any time your on the road you have to look out for those hazards. Especially if your lower to the ground like we are. Anyway it turned out to be a very wet day and nice ride.

We spent our second day heading on down to Illinois. We stopped in Hobart, IN to ride another Rails to Trails called Prairie Duneland Trail. We rode 15 miles through lush, green lands and had lunch at a cute place called Tate's.
