... a good secondary road, to #46 through
Bloomington, a college town (Indiana University) that reminded us of chapel
Hill. We stayed on 46 East through Columbus, then north on smaller road #7 to
Madison, where we found Clifty Falls State Park - green and grassy with lots of
hills and trees that we recognized - oak, pine. poplar, ash, etc. - and nice

This is our first blog entry. This summer we'll be doing a lot of traveling and wanted everyone to be able to keep up with us! We want to make it from Orlando to Boston this year traveling a total of over 8,000 miles. That's more than the diameter of the earth! Who knows what surprises we'll find along the way!

Check out our planned itinerary on Map Quest!

attached is a picture of the elevation profile for tomorrow's ride. I hope to be on the road by 9:00 a.m. It's only about 48 miles but some look fairly steep. Misery loves company so WISH YOU WERE.HERE. Honestly, riding these hills is a struggle but also a great deal of fun and each one proves that I can do this.
