We swiftly found the second, at Dwight. Route 66 is famed for it's old-fashioned gas stations, some of which have been kept in/restored to their original condition and make fascinating time capsules of life in the 30's and 40's. The couple curating the Texaco station in Dwight were very friendly and keen to tell us all about the place, having both lived there all their lives.
