    We got up late as a result of our galavanting across the Oklahoma City area. Headed straight into a CVS Medi-Center for Ry's earache. A whole week was starting to bother me. She said she was fine, but I don't like it hanging on so long. We were patient number two, but it took forever. Albeit a necessary trip. She has a bad ear infection. We got the medicine she needs and took off toward Dallas. What a mess that was.

    We headed towards Fairfield on the highway that was four lanes in each direction!! We arrived in Fairfield in darkness and had some difficulty finding the rv park we had booked online. After ringing for directions we headed off into darkness and started to feel certain we were driving in the wrong way till Liam spotted the sign. We realised why it only showed the sign on its website!! ...

    ... food, but struck out on 2 restaurants that were closed on Sunday (Crawfish Hole 32 in Minden, LA and the Cajun Pot in Ruston, LA]. Ended up finding Ponchatoulas in Ruston which was pretty tasty. Went on down the road to Monroe, LA to stay in a Hampton Inn. We had stopped at a newer Hampton Inn in West Monroe, but it was about $25 cheaper to go on to the older Hampton Inn and it was very clean and nice.

    We arrived tired and hungry. The weather wasn't raining but it was cool and windy for most of the trip. We didn't arrive until later than expected but we didn't even get out of bed until 9!
