      Tortas in Our Tummies

      • Stopped off at Tacos Y Mariscos El Compa in Caldwell Idaho at 6:30 PM.
      • We both got chicken tortas for $5.50 each.
      • It was delicious, authentic Mexican food.
      • We got gas before leaving Caldwell.
      • Since it was a 129 mile drive from Wendell to Caldwell, gas was $24.04.
      • Back on the road by 8:00 PM and headed to Oregon to send the night.

... farewell to the Snake meant something and camping to enjoy its plenty for one last day or two was worth it because death was only a day away back then. It is much easier traveling now. We've also been following the Snake more or less for three days and it will be sad to say farewell. We saw her birthplace up in Yellowstone as she cut a canyon through the forests, and as she fed moose in the Tetons, and we saw her command the state of Idaho. Miles north of here the Snake ...

I know I told some of you I wasn't going to blog this time...but I found an App that I think will work just fine...so check here regularly! Until tomorrow, we wish you sweet dreams! ... ranges and don't have trees on them. There are eroded cliffs where nature has worked her magic over the eons. The irrigated farms in the valley include fields of corn, onions, potatoes (we are getting close to Idaho), and we weren't sure what else!

Finally, we saw the overpass where I-84 enters Ontario! Shortly after we rode over the freeway, the bicycle computer told us we had ridden 100 miles! At an intersection in town we ...
