Another magic Day

... House.

Drove on towards Wyoming. Found a Tourist Centre with a huge car park with a few trucks. We decided to stay. We eventually had a huge refrigerated truck one side and another semi with a damaged helicopter on the other. Our RV is quite well insulated so not too much noise penetrated as trucks came and went. A good night nevertheless and a good price.

This morning we wanted to return to The Garden of The Gods. It's so beautiful and you can drive your vehicle, walk along the cement sidewalks, jog or rock climb. We wanted to see the morning sun on these cathedral spires and we were not disappointed. We wandered around the walking trails. Everywhere you turned there was another photo opportunity. ...

Since we stayed at a different campsite than what was originally planned, we had to reroute and misrouted into a military base and then onto a pretty high traffic highway. A group of about 10 of us decided to stop and call the leaders to tell them the situation and not have anyone behind us take the same highway. ...

So I've lived in Colorado for most of the last 22 years, although with several stretches temporarily residing elsewhere during that time. It feels about time to drive the short distance south and explore Pike’s Peak Country and drive to the summit. That’s one of the first things many tourists to the state do, and still haven’t done it yet!

Pike’s Peak is one of America’s best known mountains. ...

Today is the last day here. I will soon go to Wallmart and make some shopping. The prices in states are very good. Many products you consider expensive in EU can you get cheaper here.
As two exemples Lewis jeans costs around 40 $, Fine shirts are around 60 or 80 % cheaper here than in EU. Whatever you buy is a good idea to buy here.
