... the small center town on the main island. It was there that we visited the ancient St Magnus Cathedral. It was begun in the year 1137, making it nearly nine hundred years old. It was the most spectacular old structure I have ever seen. It was huge. The high ceilings and stained glass windows were magnificent. ... Starbucks" hehehe. This afternoon we visited the firefighter memorial park and also the firefighters museum, quite humbling and interesting ... We could not believe the numbers on the remembrance wall of fallen firefighters. Did a little shopping on the way home, got some NFL t-shirts and some wrangler jeans ($20!) ... Home for tea and chill out times and a Dr Pepper for Roy ...

... Davis family was the best part of my day and easily one of the most meaningful moments on the trip thus far. By the day's end, we had completed a lot of the framing on the house and the garage. I so badly wish we could continue to work on the Davis' house but tomorrow we start to tackle the Rockies as we make our way to Buena Vista. I am looking forward to seeing what the SC2SC route will accomplish on the Davis' ...

... again after 37 years. The day we were there the Ride
The Rockies tour came through town. (
) We left town the same way they came in, by way of the Kebler
Pass (9980') then over Ohio Pass and down the through the Ohio Creek
Valley. This Valley is lined with 100 acer homesites priced like they
are in heaven. Beautiful, just the way you always imagine Colorado

Today is the last day here. I will soon go to Wallmart and make some shopping. The prices in states are very good. Many products you consider expensive in EU can you get cheaper here.
As two exemples Lewis jeans costs around 40 $, Fine shirts are around 60 or 80 % cheaper here than in EU. Whatever you buy is a good idea to buy here.
