... Until then, my hopes are to add stories and images from my previous adventures in here.
I'll slowly add things about myself. If I even have one person look at my entries on here, that would be enough for me. I don't expect it. I'm not the most eloquent of writers, but I do love to document things.
So this is it. Here I go.
... all the eating we have been doing it wasn't a great fit anyway. Having slept like a baby and feeling revived we hop straight back into Cecil and head for the East coast, we have been told by the concierge to check out a place called Savanna which is around 4 hours from here, he seemed so excited for us I thought he was going to climb in the boot and come with. We have now crossed literally ...
... before dinner so much that we bought another bottle in the same shop as the evening before. This time we also got two souvenir glasses, which we still use.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant again. But that night the place was so slammed we had to eat from a limited menu at the bar. I think we had a less than memorable pizza.
Patty recalls being kept awake by revelers, but I don't remember being bothered by them.
... two levels and have butterflies land on us.
Before driving back to the Inn, we stopped at a mountain gift shop just up the road and bought a bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed an otherwise nondescript wine as we drank it from plastic cups on the great patio outside our room, no one else around. We enjoyed a quiet dinner in hotel restaurant and called it a day.

The drive up was scenic and uneventful. We must have had lunch in one of the small towns along the way, but I do not remember, alas.
I think we got to check into our room at the Inn early that afternoon; then we drove around the Gardens.
We must have had dinner at a restaurant on the grounds, but not at the big upscale one.
