... for India! First lesson: plan your visa/everything way in advance, especially for bureaucratically burdened countries like India.

I have spent the night checking my list, and checking it twice - not the naughty or nice list, my packing list. I repacked my suitecase into a sweet 70 liter traveling backpack that my buddy Max let me use for this trip - thanks, Max!

... damage the boots took was a broken strap on the left boot (im assuming it was from the 3-6" diameter branch that I jumped up). Even with multiple log jumps, deep sand pits, 2 1/2 ft snow drifts, 1-2 1/2 ft deep water crossings and soupy mud holes the boots kept traction on the rubber pegs of the KLR. Down side....... Not waterproof..... Not even resistant. I found myself with wet socks multiple times but there are products out there to assist with this problem. ...

The first day we were in St. Paul, we took the kids to a fabulous indoor playground located in the Edinborough Park complex. This building has office space, living space, assisted living space, a restaurant, the indoor playground, a walking track, swimming pool, and a theater.
