    ... and then set off.

We rode the streets for a while (yeah we're cool) then hit the Riverwalk going north. There were hardly any people there, and the riding was smooth, and not too hot (shocking I know). We rode north as far as Central Market on Broadway and Hildebrand, where ...

Going over the bridge was beautiful and TX 6 was ok until I got closer to Houston where the traffic and lights took up a lot of time. I finally got on TX 35 which was a great rural road that brought me to I-10 west to San Antonio. In San Antonio I stopped in to Cowboy's Alamo Harley Davidson for my 5000 ...

... in the morning. At 11.25 am we stopped for an early lunch at Columbus Texas, Walmart. Andrew is very manky with his cold so we went and saw the pharmacist in Walmart. He gave Andrew some cough suppressant for non mucus and we grabbed the one with mucus just in case! We also grabbed all of our bulk drugs, Aleve day and night, Neosporin antibiotic cream with pain reliever, analgesic spray for my neck and some cold and flu bulk pack for Andrew. I found some light weight gloves that ...

... a BBQ place in Driftwood, just south of Austin.
The parking lot should have been our first clue that this was a huge place. It would have held about 1000 cars. They were several fields roped off to form several large lots.

The smell of burning wood could be smelled from a far distance. Inside, the dining rooms were set up with picnic tables and benches. There is a children's section plus ...
