... For those who are curious, I started this blog for family members and really, anyone else who wants to keep up with me while I go on this European adventure. I hope y'all enjoy reading it and I am sorry in advance if it is somewhat lacking. I will try to update as often as I can but I am kind of a noob at all of this blogging. Wish me luck!

Cheers, tea and crumpets, bits 'n bobs, and all of that poppycock

Despite serving lethal drinks, the Rainforest Cafe was really a themed family restaurant. It was canopied with huge inside rainforest inhabited by life-size animated creatures. We enjoyed our clam chowder despite the glaring gaze of a bull elephant who startled us now and then with his ...

Most of you have heard by this point that I have decided to spread my traveling wings once more and will be relocating to France for the next 6 or so months.

I have been traveling abroad almost every other year since I was 14 years old, so it's due time that I get out there again! My last adventure took me to Lebanon where I interned for American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) for 3 months. It was through that job that I discovered my ...

... time! We started this journey last week in Dallas at our annual Mary Kay Seminar. So magical and so much fun meeting friends from all over the US, Russia, Norway, Germany, England and Croatia. And of course hanging out with family and local friends! It started with an evening at Medieval Times with the king, princess and knights. Of course we had our MK Men with us. It was really a great time and our nephew, Cayden, became a knight ...
